About

Hi! I’m Nancy, and I’m so glad you stopped by! I’m a writer and designer, and my blog is about creative things I love doing…from baking and decorating to gardening and crafting. It’s also about different things that inspire and encourage me…Scripture, great quotes, books, music, and lifestyle tips. I hope you’ll find some ideas here that are helpful and that inspire you, too!

If you have any creative projects, recipes, or tips of your own you’d like to share or have feedback on any of my posts, please feel free to add a comment–I’d love to hear from you!

  1. Great photography Nancy! The daffodils look beautiful. Thanks for the link and mention. I owe you one.

  3. So glad I found your blog! I can’t wait to look around more. I used to work at a Christian book store and we sold lots of Day Spring cards. I was in charge of restocking and reordering them. Fun times :)

    • Thanks for stopping by my blog! I lived in KC in the late 80′s to early 90′s before I moved to work for DaySpring. I used to shop at several different KC Christian bookstores when I lived up there. Nice to hear from you, Emily! :)

  4. I couldn’t seem to comment on your post about autumn wreaths or pumpkin recipes. I made your Pumpkin Cream Cheese Bread this weekend and it was absolutely gorgeous! I have been searching for a recipe like this for many years after tasting something similar made by an American friend of my mum’s, she had a cinnamon glaze on hers too, which I think really makes it. So, thankyou so much! Your blog is wonderful and I am now following you. Have a great week. Love Linda x

Hi Nancy! Just wanted to drop a note to say I recently found your blog and have made three of your different banana breads in the past month (using up old bananas and leftover ingredients from the holidays). I love your recipes and the sort of no-fuss elegance to your recipes with pretty basic ingredients, but gourmet results! Thank you for sharing!

  6. Hey Nancy – I’m English so we do all our measuring in grams/ounces etc, I was wondering whether there’s a certain size of ‘cup’ you use?! (My scales are also broken so would be useful to use cups to measure anyway!) Last time I tried it all went horribly wrong!! Thanks, Zoe x
